Setup Guide
for
roon

ARCE and ARCAS have the same Roon upgrade

"ARCE, the inaugural streamer of DENAFRIPS, designed with a primary focus on delivering an exceptional sound quality experience."

The ARCE streamer currently functions with roon as a roon Bridge, and while the development of roon Ready integration is underway, its completion may take several months. However, during this interim period, users can still utilize the ARCE streamer as a Bridge, ensuring continuous function with roon until the full roon Ready implementation is realized.

STEP 1: Connect ARCE Streamer to the Home Network via an Ethernet Cable

  1. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the Arce streamer.

  2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to an available port on the home network Ethernet switch.

  3. Ensure that the Ethernet switch is DHCP enabled. This means that the switch will automatically assign a unique IP address to the Arce streamer once it is connected.

  4. Once the connection is established, the Arce streamer will be assigned a unique IP address by the DHCP-enabled Ethernet switch, allowing it to communicate and access resources on the home network.

With this setup, the Arce streamer will be seamlessly integrated into your home network, ready to provide an exceptional audio streaming experience.
