Every listening period is wonderfully engaging with no listening fatigue

Hello Alvin,

I received the Pontus II back on May 5. It is all hooked up to my stereo system and has now had a good long burn-in period. I am amazed at the improvement in the sound quality. I listen only to CD’s using my OPPO UDP-203 and Arcam CD72 (from 2002!).

I have an Emotiva amplifier (300W in 4 ohms) feeding Magnapan speakers. Every listening period is wonderfully engaging with no listening fatigue. I am not an audiophile but the Pontus II has been the biggest upgrade in sound quality since I started buying stereo equipment in the 1970s.

I will be considering one of Denafrips preamps in the future.
