I added the Iris DDC to the system in my study this year. I was keen to hear if a cleaner signal from my Intel NUC to my DAC would make a difference. It did. Adding the Iris resulted in achieving a wider and deeper soundstage.
All audio became more defined and voices were noticeably more natural. It was like looking through a window that had been cleaned - everything became clearer.
A highly recommended addition for anyone considering it.

USB in to a Denafrips Iris,
Coaxial in to a Sony TA-ZH1ES DAC, headphone amp,
RCA out to a Peachtree Nova 300 integrated amplifier,
Bi-wire to Kef R3 speakers.
Headphones are Oppo PM-2 via a balanced XLR cable
Oppo DV-983H CD player and Panasonic DP-UB900 Blu-ray player
All power cables are shielded.
